Exciting and Interactive: Game-Inspired Off-site Experience for Corporate Clients

Gijs Van Wezel

Imagine an engaging two-day off-site experience tailored to coach and empower 20 high-potential individuals while providing valuable personal assessments. Allow me to present a well-thought-out approach that will surely captivate corporate clients.

When organising an off-site event, it's important to consider that not everyone may be initially enthusiastic about attending due to the potential workload upon their return. As a facilitator, our goal is to engage participants and ignite their interest from the start.

To achieve this, we have designed an interactive game that encourages individual self-reflection and sparks engaging conversations among group members. Participants will select character cards that best represent them, fostering dialogue that promotes a deeper understanding of oneself and others within the team.

In the coaching aspect of the event, we address crucial elements such as self-perception, desired objectives, and potential barriers to success. The game serves as a catalyst for meaningful coaching discussions, creating an enjoyable and interactive environment. Furthermore, we can complement this by incorporating an "energy-focused" assessment, which examines work behaviours that either energise or drain individuals. This ensures a comprehensive understanding of individuals' strengths, weaknesses, and overall energy dynamics.

By integrating coaching sessions with off-site team events, we offer a unique opportunity for participants to gain fresh perspectives and foster growth outside their usual work environment. This holistic approach guarantees our corporate clients a transformative experience that engages their high potentials while nurturing their professional development from a new and invigorating standpoint.
